Addy, thanks for the article. It looks like it covers all possible optimization techniques. Impressive. It's been three years since the publication. Do you plan to write an updated version of this article in the light of recent technological changes ( http3, 5G, new mobile hardware, etc)?
Also, I'd like to add as a web developer, that in some cases it's very difficult to work on JS budget if you don't have the project budget for this. In small and medium-sized projects (like a typical e-commerce site) we heavily rely on already built solutions (themes, modules, etc) and if they are not optimized we are screwed as the client does not want to spend its money on code optimization/refactoring. So we end up with a mediocre site that is OK but can never reach its true potential.
